Katie joined Chatfield in 2022. She began her career in dentistry as a dental nurse in 2013, equipping her with several years of valuable experience of working within the dental team. She then sought a new challenge, studying and qualifying as a hygienist in 2022 from Portsmouth University. She is qualified to carry out all hygiene treatments, including bespoke oral hygiene instruction, in both adults and children. This allows Katie to recommend specific tools and routines to keep your teeth and gums in optimum health. Professional cleanings with Katie will also ensure your teeth are clean and free of build- up (dental calculus) which can impede your own cleaning regimen, and ultimately cause periodontal disease and tooth loss. Katie is also certified to complete teeth whitening treatments.
